Malcolm and Cathy accompanied Ian Porter from Merseyside Safeguarding Adults Board and gave a moving reading to professionals that work in social care and housing. The event was held at the Bluecoat arts centre in Liverpool. The transcript was produced by Ian and the peer group over multiple sessions.
The script was designed to highlight the fact that hoarding isn’t just a label, that the individuals behind it have very real and personal stories that are ironically neglected by professionals. We’ve posted the script on our blog page and would encourage everyone, especially professionals, to read it.
